St. Anne's Spa       Toronto                           November 5, 2010

We recently visited St. Anne's spa in September staying in the Sentosa cottage, a short walk away from the main inn but well worth it. Staying in the East Suite of the cottage we had a private deck overlooking the Northumberland hills and Lake Ontario, a large bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower.  The Sentosa cottage has its own kitchen, living room and outdoor deck with private Jacuzzi sharing with the other 2 suites.
We would have to say that what distinguishes St. Anne's from other spas, is their location with sprawling acres of green and lush gardens surrounded by walking trails, tennis, an outdoor pool with beautiful sitting areas and patios.  It is truly a place to reflect and relax.

Reasons to go:
A great place for mom and daughters to reconnect.
Rent the Sentosa cottage for the exclusive use for your bridal party.
A romantic getaway, yes men go to St. Anne's

Things we learned
Travel zoo has offered 50% off twice in 2010 on selected dates at St. Anne's
If on a budget skip spa treatments...  walking trails, outdoor pool and indoor amenities is all you need, curl up with a book on the grand outside lawn
Bring some snacks with you and your own wine
Refresh your robes - available at front desk
Ask your server about meal choices, their preferences and serving size.
We were disappointed in our dinner.
Do try the different flavoured spring waters through out the property
The large treatment waiting room is beautiful, sit and have a tea or coffee with some cookies and read a book.
Everyone dresses up for dinner we did not see any white robes.
For a small fee ask if breakfast can be delivered if away from the main inn.
